Imagini incredibile cu un oraș eliberat de sub teroarea ISIS
Manbij, un oraș din provincia siriană Alep, este acum sub stăpânirea rebelilor susținuți de Statele Unite ale Americii. Orașul a ieșit de sub controlul grupării teroriste ISIS, vineri (12 august). Americanii i-au ajutat pe rebelii sirieni să îi învingă pe teroriști.
Manbij era sub controlul ISIS încă din 2014, relatează Buzzfeed. Forțele Democrate Siriene, o coaliție formată din luptători kurzi și arabi, au fost ajutate de militari americani. A fost 73 de zile de lupte grele și lungi, dar Manbij se bucură acum de libertate.

În jur de 500 de mașini cu jihadiști au fost văzute părăsind orașul, vineri (12 august).
Sharfan Darwish, purtător de cuvânt al Forțelor Democrate Siriene, a declarat, pentru Reuters, că teroriștii care au încercat să fugă din oraș au luat și civili drept „scut”, pentru a nu putea fi opriți să fugă.

Cu toate acestea, ostaticii au fost salvați, iar acum orașul Manbij se află sub controlul total al rebelilor. Acest lucru reprezintă o lovitură foarte grea pentru gruparea teroristă ISIS. Manbij era o rută crucială între Alep și Raqqa, orașul care servește drept capitala Statului Islamic.
